With Charity Challenge you can climb Mount Kilimanjaro, cross Cuba by bicycle or walk the Pennine Way...all the time supporting Giraffe's work in Kenya. Charity Challenge organises the entire trip for you, including giving you fundraising ideas.
Trips are organised for 3-4 weeks every July. Planning begins the previous January. Singles, couples and families with children of all ages are welcome. Young people wishing to participate in a team without their parents may apply from age 16. Contact us for information.
In March 2009 Stuart and Nigel walked from London to Canterbury, a distance of 85 miles, and raised £2,000.
Kristy's Trek - In May 2009 Kristy crossed the Atlas Mountains in Morocco on foot. She raised over £1,000 to equip a classroom in the new Tumaini School building.
Wheeling4water - in November 2007 Julie, Jules, Sharon and Clare crossed Cuba on bicycles and raised 18,000 euors for the bore hole that provides water for 3 schools, an orphanage and 2000 people in the region.
In April this year a team of 5 walked the Coast to Coast route (196 miles, from St Bee's Head on the Cumbrian coast of North West England to the Robin Hood's Bay on the East coast in North Yorkshire) in 12 days. Congratulations to Nigel and the team, and thank you for £2,823 raised for the Giraffe Project.
